YFWMB Researcher Position 2010
The Yukon Fish and Wildlife Management Board (YFWMB) is looking to hire an energetic, self-motivated individual to fill the position of Researcher for a 0.8 position (approximately 4 days per week). This is a permanent position and includes an attractive benefits package. Individual applying must be enthusiastic about working for the Board, motivated, and highly accountable.
Reporting to the Executive Director, this position is responsible for conducting research and analysis supporting the YFWMB’s strategic objectives, identifying and analyzing Yukon wide issues relating to Yukon fish and wildlife management, fish and wildlife management planning, trends (national and international), and must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position will support the YFWMB in making recommendations to the appropriate Ministers, Yukon First Nations and Renewable Resource Councils on all matters related to fish and wildlife management, legislation, research, policies and programs.
